Q: Do I have to be really talented to join?
A: Of course not! This site's main goal is improvement and development related to your drawings. So it doesn't matter if you're not as good as other artists out there; you are an artist if you're willing to improve. Also, it's not necessary to do form of art at all. You can just comment & critique other members' artwork.
Q: Do I have to limit the art I put up here to drawings?
A: Never, never, NEVER. You can do music, lyrics, literature, painting, etc. It's kind of the immediate idea that artwork is just drawing and all that, but it is not.
Q: Is this site sort of like deviantART? ( Link to the site : http://deviantart.com/ )
A: Yes, it is similar to deviantART. But we'd like to think of it as a more limited site; a place where brand new artists can start off easy and eventually gain more experience at varying paces. Think of us as a club.
Q: Why should I join this site?
A: Our site is a starting point for newcomers who won't be extremely pressured to gain more experience as soon as possible. Many artists think that they must be good immediately, but that's not necessary. Time, practice, and having fun are important too! The immense amount of pressure is gone here.
Q: Do I have to talk to everyone on here?
A: It's not really that important to talk to everyone on here, but we'd like to think of every member as a part of our family. (In a good way people). It would be nice if you could comment on everyone's artwork.
Q: Why does Sabashii Mitsukai always talk to me about my artwork? It's annoying!
A: For myself, I always like to support people in their progression of art. I want to tell them the pros and cons of their artwork, and possibly suggest some ideas to be used to improve. Never in a bossy, demanding, annoying, picky, constant, never-leaves-me-alone...way. But if it does start to bother you in any manner, then please tell me. And I do not have to be the only one doing this; it's suggested that everyone comments, praises, and places their ideas to the members. I am not a professional artist who can give you every single way for you to be the best artist you can be. (Only you can be the #1 influence to your improvement!)
Q: Why is there music on a couple of pages I see?
A: The music is there for the hearing pleasure of everyone who views certain pages. And the songs on the site are my personal favorites. But if you don't like them, or want to suggest a replacement, just tell me right away. I can only remove the song itself and not add new ones for the time being.
