3:25 P.M. May 14th

As I climbed into the car with my heart choking and my eyes bleeding,

I made my routine greetings to my mother.

No answer.

She murmured one thing I didn't want to hear, her eyes covered by darkness.

Tears sliding down her cheeks.

Tumbling down again, my heart fatally hit the ground with no beats emanating.

No, it can not be too late.

We trudged into our home, my head moaning at the immensity of it all.

And then...

...the ring.

Once.

Silence.

Twice.

Silence.

Tears still remaining in her eyes as well as mine, my mom picked up her phone warily.

Murmurs.

She put the monotone machine down, veering her eyes away from us, as we stood anxiously.

Silently.

The words came from her mouth.

"...3:15 p.m. ...gone at 3:15 p.m..."

My head shot up to the kitchen clock, its grotesque face staring at me.

3:25.

...3:25 p.m.

We were too late.

I was too late.

Tearless Cry

All alone and quiet
is how it's going to feel.
Empty and blue
is how I'll feel without you
Dark and rainy
is how everyday will be.
Gray and fog
is everything I'll see.

Pale and white
is how I will seem,
for the reflection of yourself
will be brought upon me.
Endless, life will be
for your disappearance life will never end
and for that,
I will never see you again.

Pain and agony
I will live among.
All those endless years of not speaking to you,
will drive me to the road of pain.

So never will I forget,
the words that you have said.
Never will I forget,
the way you shared your tales.
Never will I forget,
the tears you and I have shed.
Never will I forget,
you my good friend.

Until the day I know your gone,
my smiles will fade.
Everything will seem so dark,
I'll want to make it bright.
But until I see that you have died,
I'll have myself a tearless cry.

I am not here
is what you think
You do not see
myself right there
You do not feel
my arms around you
You do not hear
my voice upon you
But does that mean I am really gone?

My shadow is near you
following, playing my life.
Some beating, is what you hear
which is coming from my heart.

My feelings for you
are still the same.
Never have they changed,
even at times when I've felt insane.

Though many of these things
seem as though they are very far away,
my heart is the closest to you.

Whether you see me or not,
you've never been out of my sight.
Whether I am here or not,
I am never gone. ♥
